What the service covers

Body Dream Massage provides in-home recovery and wellness treatments: post-operative lymphatic drainage, wood therapy, light therapy, body scrub and dry brushing, and therapeutic massage.

These treatments support a recovery. They do not replace it, and they replace no medical follow-up.

What is never performed

Body Dream Massage performs no medical acts. Specifically, and without exception:

• no drain removal
• no stitch removal
• no wound care
• no injections
• no diagnosis

These belong to the medical team that performed the surgery. Such a request will be declined, however insistent, and even if another practitioner has agreed to it elsewhere.

The intake questions about drains, stitches or complications exist only to adapt the pressure and the areas worked on, or to recommend a call to the surgeon.

Deposit

An $85 deposit confirms the time slot. It applies in full against the price of the session: it is not an added fee.

Until the deposit is received the slot is not held, and may be offered to another client.

Cancellation

The deposit follows three tiers, according to the notice given:

• More than 48 hours — deposit refunded in full, or moved to the new date, at the client's choice.
• Between 48 and 24 hours — half the deposit is kept.
• Less than 24 hours, or a no-show — the whole deposit is kept.

The service is mobile: a slot freed the day before can sometimes be refilled, and one freed the same day rarely can. That is the sole reason these tiers exist.

A no-show requires a new deposit for any subsequent booking.

Intake form

A first session requires a completed and signed intake form. It is what allows the treatment to be given safely: pressure, areas worked on, contraindications.

Answers are kept for 7 years after the last treatment, then deleted. You may at any time ask to see them, correct them or have them deleted, by writing to pamela@bodydream.ca. The details are in the privacy policy.

Photos

No photo is taken, kept or published without separate written consent. Consenting to a treatment never means consenting to be photographed, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
