Booking

All appointments are made directly with Pamela Calix, by text message or by phone. No booking is accepted through a third party.

Same-day appointments and requests with less than 24 hours' notice are accepted based on availability. These require rearranging the schedule and may lead to slight delays.

Deposit and payment

A deposit is required to confirm a booking. Until the deposit is received the time slot is not held and may be offered to another client.

The deposit amount is confirmed at booking, together with the price of the session. It applies in full against that price: it is not an added fee.

Time limit

Once a slot has been agreed, a maximum of 2 hours is allowed to send the transfer. After that the slot is no longer guaranteed. Confirmation must happen the same day as the booking.

Balance

The balance is settled on the day of the appointment, in cash or by Interac transfer. Payment cannot be deferred to the next day. Late payment may result in future bookings being declined.

Question: Soins — Answer: Massage. Nothing else should be added. Do not enter a first name, surname or any personal information in the question or answer.

Cancellation and rescheduling

The $85 deposit follows three tiers, according to the notice given:

• More than 48 hours — deposit refunded in full, or moved to the new date, at the client's choice.
• Between 48 and 24 hours — half the deposit is kept.
• Less than 24 hours, or a no-show — the whole deposit is kept.

The middle tier exists because a slot freed the day before can sometimes be refilled, and one freed the same day rarely can.

A no-show requires a new deposit for any subsequent booking.

The service is mobile: a slot cancelled that morning cannot be given to anyone else. That is the sole reason this policy exists.

Change of address

A last-minute change of address may incur charges or result in cancellation without refund.

Lateness

Up to 15 minutes of lateness is accommodated. Beyond that the appointment may be cancelled so as not to delay the following clients. The session ends at the scheduled time and the rate is unchanged.

A delay of 15 to 30 minutes may occur, due to traffic, road conditions, the length of a previous treatment or the condition of a post-operative client. It is never intentional.

Allow at least one hour between the session and any other appointment that day.

Preparation and accessories

For the best possible treatment, all necessary accessories must be ready on arrival: compression garment (faja), lipo foam, lumbar board, abdominal board and any other equipment prescribed by the surgeon.

You must also:

• have showered before the arrival
• prepare a clean, clear space of roughly two metres by two
• provide a power outlet, towels and water
• remove jewellery
• keep the room at a comfortable temperature

If the space does not allow the equipment to be set up safely, the treatment may be declined or cancelled.

Winter conditions

During winter, access to the residence must be safe for carrying the table and equipment. The client is responsible for:

• clearing snow from the entrance
• removing ice from the walkway
• clearing the stairs
• keeping steps and railings free of objects

If these conditions are not met, additional charges may apply or the appointment may be cancelled.

Sanitation, substances and smoking

The space used for the treatment must be clean and sanitary, and free of any insect or pest infestation. If a sanitation problem is found on arrival, the appointment is cancelled immediately, without refund of the deposit.

Consuming substances that may alter behaviour before or during the appointment is strictly prohibited. If this occurs, the treatment is cancelled immediately, without refund of the deposit.

There must be no smoking inside the home for at least one hour before the arrival.

Treatments for men

For all treatments provided to men, underwear (boxer shorts) must be worn for the entire duration of the treatment. If this condition is not met on arrival, the treatment is cancelled immediately, without refund of the deposit.

Respect and safety

A treatment may be stopped or cancelled immediately, without refund, if inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour is observed, or if the working conditions become uncomfortable.

The client must provide accurate information about their surgery and their state of health. Inaccurate or omitted information may result in cancellation without refund.

If an anxiety episode makes it impossible to continue, the session is stopped and the deposit is retained.

Scope and limits of care

The treatments offered are massage therapy and recovery care. They support healing, guarantee no result and do not replace medical follow-up.

No diagnosis is made. No wound care is provided. Dressings are never touched. Medical complications are not managed.

In case of increasing pain, fever, spreading redness, unusual discharge or any other concerning sign, contact the surgeon or a health professional immediately.

Results depend on several factors: the body, the surgery, the follow-up and consistency. The client releases Body Dream Massage from any liability related to the healing process.
